UTS TD School

RJ Office worked with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and CCG Architects to revitalise the Graduate School of Health staff space on Level 4 of Building 7. Located within the university’s science and health precinct, the project focused on creating a flexible and ergonomic workspace to support academic productivity and wellbeing.

The building holds a 6 Green Star sustainability rating, and the design complements this with a blend of modern furniture, greenery and natural light. Despite global supply chain challenges, RJ Office ensured the project was delivered smoothly with ongoing support and consistent communication.

Furniture highlights

• Workstations: Volt linear desks to support collaborative and individual work
• Seating: Henny chairs for ergonomic comfort
• Meeting spaces: Project T and Disc tables for breakout and formal settings
• Folding tables: RJ Flip tables for multi-use configurations
• Storage: Sliding door units with integrated planter tops
• Greenery: Freestanding planter walls to enhance wellness and spatial flow

Outcome

The completed workspace offers a fresh, high-functioning environment tailored to faculty needs. With clearly defined zones for open plan working, breakout collaboration and private meetings, the design supports flexibility, comfort and visual consistency across the floor.

Staff now benefit from a calm, cohesive space that reflects the forward-thinking spirit of the UTS TD School.
