RJ Office partnered with The Cutaway at Barangaroo to deliver a contemporary workplace furniture solution tailored to the needs of the venue’s operational and administrative teams.

Located within the architecturally distinctive Cutaway precinct at Barangaroo, the project focused on creating a highly functional, ergonomic and visually cohesive workspace that would support day-to-day operations while complementing the premium environment of one of Sydney’s most recognisable cultural and event destinations.

The fitout featured a large-scale installation of Volt workstations throughout the office environment, providing streamlined and efficient work areas designed to support both focused individual work and team collaboration.

Complementary furniture solutions including ergonomic seating, monitor arms, meeting tables and breakout furniture were integrated throughout the space to enhance comfort, flexibility and usability across multiple work settings.

Furniture highlights

Volt workstations: Motorised height-adjustable Volt workstation systems formed the foundation of the workspace, supporting sit-stand flexibility, ergonomic performance, efficient team layouts and a clean contemporary aesthetic throughout the office.

Ergonomic seating: Task seating was selected to provide long-term comfort and support for staff across operational and administrative roles.

Meeting & collaboration areas: Meeting tables and collaborative breakout spaces were incorporated throughout the fitout to encourage communication, flexibility and informal team interaction.

Monitor arms & workspace accessories: Integrated monitor arms and workspace accessories enhanced desk functionality, user comfort and overall workspace organisation.

The completed fitout delivers a polished and highly functional workplace environment designed to support the operational requirements of The Cutaway team while maintaining a clean, professional and contemporary feel.
